RWK Dry cutting Diamond Core Bits feature a vacuum brazed diamond grit tip with a special wax filled core to aid cooling and provide a cleaner job. Suits non-hammer action portable power drills. To avoid drill slipping start with a 45° angle. After the hole is started gradually straighten up the drill. Make a swinging movement to allow for dust evacuation (check out video in pictures). Make sure the core has been removed from bit after drilling. Recommended cutting speed dry, greater than 3,000 RPM
This holesaw gets attached to the thread (m14) of your angle grinder. Cutting speed is around twice as fast as drill powered holesaw.
Tiles, Glass, Brick, Marble, Ceramics
All prices are excluding GST.
GST will be added at check out.

Experienced DIYér drilling multiple holes through 14mm thick porcelain bathroom wall tiles using grinder fitted holesaws. My I found online ordering easy and delivery prompt, ordered Wed arrived in Wellington Fri. The online videos were or great use to a first time user, perhaps some more info on drilling would be good like what to do with the cores as you go and best RPM range etc
I found the first couple of holes went quite well but then progress slowed and it became quite slow, I did alter drill speed up which helped a bit. Would will use again and recommend RWK
14mm angle grinder dry cut hole saw vs 18mm thick tiles. Each hole took around 30-45 seconds. Fast , easy, accurate. Tiles used to scare me a bit. Would they break? Could I drill in exactly the desired position?. How long will the bit last? Do I need cutting fluid? Now I just laugh in the tile’s face!
These are so good once you get the hang of them. Make sure you rotate when drilling ( like the demo video ) and they last for ages!
The RWK 6mm diamond drill bit is the best tile drilling tool I have ever used. It can double the construction efficiency and process quality. As an electrician, I no longer have to worry about making holes in hard tiles.
